Nutrition and diet app development that keeps clients on plan

Dietitians, nutrition coaches and supplement brands sell results that depend on what clients do between consultations. We build the apps, booking and store systems that keep those clients engaged and paying.

What a nutrition practice handles between consultations

A dietitian with a growing practice spends evenings on WhatsApp: sending this week’s plan as a PDF, answering whether paneer can replace eggs, chasing a weight update, and reminding a client that the next consult is due. Plans live in Word files, progress lives in chat history, and renewals depend on someone remembering to ask.

Supplement and health food brands face the other side: a D2C store, subscriptions, label claims to keep within FSSAI rules and customers who expect guidance with the product. We start with the routine that consumes the most staff time and build from there.

Projects here usually draw on client diet apps, WhatsApp check-ins and D2C storefronts.

What we build

What we deliver for nutrition and wellness businesses

  • Client apps for diet plans

Meal plans, recipes and swaps on the client’s phone, updated by the dietitian from a web console instead of a fresh PDF each week.

  • Progress tracking

Weight, measurements, meal photos, water and habit logs in one timeline, so each consultation starts from data rather than recollection.

  • Consult booking and subscriptions

Online and in-person consult slots, programme packages and renewals with UPI or card payments, reminders and GST invoices.

  • WhatsApp check-ins

Scheduled check-ins and reminders over WhatsApp, with an assistant that answers routine questions and passes anything clinical to the dietitian.

  • D2C supplement and health food stores

Storefronts with subscriptions, bundles and batch-wise inventory, linked to couriers and to consult programmes where you sell both.

Design considerations

What we design for in nutrition and wellness

Health data and claims

  • Consent and access control under the DPDP Act 2023
  • Medical history visible only to the assigned professional
  • Product claims within FSSAI rules for supplements

Client experience

  • Indian foods, regional cuisines and vegetarian swaps
  • Hindi and regional language content
  • Plans that work on low-end Android phones
  • Renewals that do not feel like a sales call

FAQ

Questions from dietitians and wellness brands

Do we need a custom app, or will a packaged platform do?

If you are a solo practice, a packaged coaching platform is often enough. A custom app makes sense when you run a team of dietitians, sell your own programmes or products, or need your brand and workflow rather than someone else’s.

Can the app suggest diet plans automatically?

It can draft plans from templates and the client’s preferences, but a qualified professional should approve every plan. We design the tools to save the dietitian time, not to replace their judgement.

Can clients pay for programmes on autopay?

Yes. Recurring payments through UPI AutoPay or card mandates are supported by the major Indian payment gateways, with reminders before each charge as the rules require.

How much of your week goes to WhatsApp follow-ups?

Tell us how plans, check-ins and renewals run today. We will show which parts an app or automation can take over.
